My story

Hi there, I’m a pretty Australian Shepherd mix named Lola. I’m about 2 years old, 52 lbs, and not to brag, but I’m gorgeous! And sweet! I was dumped in a neighborhood along with a shaggy little terrier friend, and we wandered around begging for food for a couple of weeks before someone finally invited us in. These days, I’m living in a foster home, having some fun, getting vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, so I can try to win the rescue dog lottery by finding a wonderful forever home! And that's where you come in, wink-wink. My foster mom says I’m a lover girl, shy at first when I meet people, but more interested in receiving affection than almost anything else. I love love, pets and snuggles, kisses and going for walks to anywhere you want to go. I get along great with other dogs, but I’m not playful… yet. I’m still trying to figure out my place in the world and who I belong to and who I will love and depend on forever and ever. I have a medium energy level, and I’m well-behaved. I’m housebroken and don't mind being in a crate while the humans are at work, although I do have dog friends at home with me. I’m just a very loyal and loving girl who bonds easily and would be grateful to be someone's forever dog.
