My story

Archimedes, aka Archie, is waiting to be your life coach. He's a sweet, interactive, chubby boy who has concerns about his human(s) and a drive to work through them with you. "It's bedtime now, friend," he'll grumble at night, and "It's time to be awake now, human," he'll tell you in the morning. During the day, he'll fall asleep on the job so you don't have to, but wake in time to remind you to take a healthy amount of downtime for love and belly rubs. He'll also keep you focused and centered, particularly when he enters a room you're not in, by calling out to make sure you're not lost. He adores being brushed, playing with wand toys or catnip, and cuddling with you day and night. Fundamentally, Archie wants nothing more than to belong to a family and be the center of your attention.After two different families, two fresh starts, and being parted from his bonded brother (all due to no fault of his own), Archie is back with us for a third chance at a good life. Though he wears his skin loosely, he's a big-boned boy. He's surprisingly not food motivated, though he'll continue to need his diet monitored to continue his weight-loss journey. He'll also be best served by a household where he can have a buddy, whether that's another pet or a human that's home most of the day, because Archie is both made of and thrives on a steady stream of love. While he'll take a little time to adjust to new surroundings, Archie is a very good boy who's ready to be your best friend and coach you through life's journeys.
