Say hello to Louie! Louie is an 8-year-old, 52-pound sweetheart who’s all about the simple joys in life—belly rubs, gentle playtime, and snoozing by your side! This well-mannered, medium-energy gentleman is house-trained, great with kids and gets along well with other calm dogs. His ideal home is one that matches his calm, gentle vibe and doesn’t mind that he’s still working on some of the fancier tricks (he’s not quite mastered `paw,` but he`s a great listener!).If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle soul who thrives on love, quiet companionship, and the occasional squeaky toy, Louie is ready to make your house a home.Come meet Louie—you’ll fall in love the moment he leans in for a cuddle!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!If you`d like to meet our available animals, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption
