Winter

My story

Meet Winter (Courtesy Post) Winter is a 2~ year old husky mix about 55lbs. He’s clever, curious, sensitive, and thoughtful. He spent some time on the street evading capture until his trapping and subsequent shelter stay where he struggled immensely. Despite this, Winter is quite eager to pack up and bond. He handles well on leash, wants to stay near, and learns very quickly making him a super fun dog to work with. Winter is fantastic with dogs. He is fostered in a home with a pack of them. He loves to play, often leans on his helpers to gain confidence out in the world. He is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely beside you. In foster care Winter is gaining confidence in new areas including coffee shops and busier foot traffic areas. Being a sensitive creature, he is prone to stick closer to his handler for assurance and has not shown any reactivity.
