My story

Meet Sugar!Sugar is a sweet 8 month old medium mixed breed girl who is ready for her forever home! She is an active tripod, She fractured her left front leg after she was tossed from a pick-up truck. The leg healed without treatment, during her life as a stray. Once she was rescued by Saving Hope, and evaluated by several vets the decision was made that it was in Sugar`s best interest to amputate her left front leg. Only having 3 legs has not slowed her down! She is playful and active, like a typical puppy. Since she is still healing from her amputation so her foster family has be trying to limit her jumping and limit the length of her walks. Her foster family includes 3 dogs and cats. Sugar loves playing with the other dogs in the household and one has even become her buddy. She chases the cats, but she is not rough with them, She is completely house trained and lets you know when she needs to go outside to potty. She likes being rewarded with a treat after she goes potty in the morning. Sugar would be perfect for school age kids and younger dogs who like to play. She is still working on crate training, but she is close. Sugar is a cuddler, she loves playing with bones/squeaky toys and playing tug-of-wag with her human or another dog. Sugar has been spayed and is current on her vaccines. Sugar is ready to find her forever home where she can get all the love, attention and playtime she deserves.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
