Janus

My story

Janus is a beautiful and persnickety Himalayan Manx mixed cat with an estimated birthdate of 05/06/2021. She came to the Mission when her prior owners could no longer keep her.  Janus is one of the prettiest cats we have ever welcomed in, and she's got that "I know what I bring to the table" attitude to match. Her ideal future family will be one with a quiet lifestyle. She would love to be in a home with maybe one or two other easy going pets, and children who will not push her to socialize asap, if at all.  Janus is presently held back by an extreme case of obesity which is making her more uncomfortable and keeping her from being able to groom her own bë-hole. As a result, her future family will need to help her stick to her diet and take her to the groomer at least monthly for a quick booty shave.  If you're seeking a wallflower type companion who needs little in the way of stimulation and enrichment, who just wants a safe place to call home, Janus is your girl.
