Sienna

My story

Sienna came to us very shy and skittish, not wanting to leave the safety of her crate. She had a litter of puppies, they have been adopted and now it’s her turn to find her forever home. She has made huge strides in her loving foster home with becoming more confident. Her foster reports - Sienna is doing GREAT! She has become my little shadow and chooses to stay in the living room when familiar faces come over instead of bolting. Today's HUGE breakthrough....SHE WENT INTO THE FRONT YARD and even out for a little walk on the sidewalk in front of the house! We had cars, kids, bikes, and a dog go by while we were "walking". She watched it all happen then continued forward. This is AMAZING progress for this sweet shy girl. She has started "asking" for attention, started doing bunny hops and bucking bronco impersonations in the back yard to engage in "play". She even swiped one of my socks to play with today! This girl is putting in the work and progressing soooo well. I am incredibly proud of her! Sienna will be a wonderful addition to a patient home that understands her need to bloom at her own pace.
