My story

This sweetheart is Maverick. Maverick was surrendered to the shelter as a stray and was not reclaimed. This sweet boy had been squeezing in and out rugged holes in a building and has caused himself some injuries from doing that. He has some very large abrasions from this and is being treated. However, he would heal much more quickly in a calmer, quieter environment than we can provide. Maverick is in need of a home as quickly as possible. If you or someone you know can provide that for him he will reward you with all of the love and snuggles you could ask for. He sometimes even gives sweet kisses. Maverick has been triple combo tested and he was negative for FIV, FeLV, and heart worms. Come meet this sweet boy today! The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
