My story

Ginger came to us with her 3 sisters from a severe neglect situation but is feeling fabulous now. She is a bit shy with new people but loves to be loved. Gingers chances of being adopted are slim, but we thought we would try. 12 lbs of cuteness that we had to shave SHORT due to the painful matting. It was apparent that she was not cared for, for quite a while. Her hair is growing in nicely. Ginger is happy, bouncy and likes to follow you around, play with her friends for a bit then head off for a nap. Her eyes do have slight cataracts but are in good health otherwise. It just makes us smile to see her so happy after how seeing the horrible shape she arrived. She is one happy girl. It's difficult to know her age since neglect can certainly make a dog seem older but we think she is 10 to 12 years. She's happy go lucky, playful and cute cute cute!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ginger, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
