Meet Tex: A Sweet Fox Terrier-Chihuahua Mix Looking for a Home Tex is a charming 6-year-old fox terrier and chihuahua mix who weighs in at a petite 12 pounds. This endearing pup ended up at the shelter because his previous owner was unable to continue caring for him. However, it's clear that Tex was well-loved, and he is now looking for a new family to share his affection with. Tex's Personality and Traits Tex is a well-behaved little dog who is both house-trained and crate-trained. He is the perfect travel buddy, as he absolutely loves car rides. He gets along famously with both other dogs and people, making him a versatile and friendly companion. Despite his situation, Tex remains one of the sweetest dogs at the shelter. He has a gentle nature and is not a big barker. He loves to follow people around and very politely asks for attention and pets. His affectionate demeanor makes him an ideal pet for any loving home. Health and Care Tex is in great health and comes with a clean bill of health. He is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is neutered, and is microchipped. Additionally, he has tested negative for heartworms, ensuring that he's ready to join his new family without any health concerns. Adoption Information Tex is currently available for adoption through Barking Mad Animal Rescue. We believe that he deserves a second chance at a happy life with a family who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them.
