She was found abandoned in a stroller at Larkey Park, with only a bag of Meow Mix and a handwritten note saying her name is Lyra, she is an indoor cat… Thankfully, a kind-hearted volunteer from Lindsay Wildlife came to her rescue and offered her a safe, loving foster home. Since then, Lyra has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Weighing just 6.5 pounds, Lyra is likely an older kitten, around a year old. But don’t let her small size fool you—she has a big, gentle personality. Her foster says she’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and playful. Lyra greets everyone with a curiosity and warm purrs. She seems to be comfortable with children and would likely thrive in a home with people who can give her the love she clearly deserves.
