My story

Meet TikTok 🐾 Your Gentle Explorer TikTok was found running along Highway 63 and arrived at the shelter tired, covered in ticks, and in need of a safe place to land. Since then, he’s shown us that underneath his shy exterior is a truly gentle, sweet soul who’s ready to find his perfect match. This handsome guy prefers treats over toys and doesn’t know any tricks yet—but with time, patience, and snacks, he’s got all the potential in the world to learn. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys a calm car ride, and loves getting out and about. On Doggy Day Out trips, he’s been a model citizen—respectful of strangers, calm around other dogs, and absolutely thrilled by a good pup cup. TikTok isn’t a high-energy dog but does enjoy daily walks and taking in the sights and smells around him. He’s not overly playful but delights in exploring at a relaxed pace and spending time with his people. He’s truly a “gentle giant” who just wants a calm corner of the world to call his own. Because the shelter environment has been stressful for him, and he’s shown some leash reactivity when overwhelmed, TikTok would do best as the only pet in a quieter home. He hasn’t had much experience with children or cats, so we recommend a home without young kids while he settles in and builds confidence. If you’re looking for a soft-natured companion who appreciates the little things—snacks, walks, a cozy spot to rest—TikTok might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to leave the chaos behind and start his next chapter with someone who sees just how special he is.
