Lil Bob is a rabbit-like Manx with short whiskers and a stub of a tail. He's litter box trained, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and microchipped. He's not very fond of children, but is very loving and cuddly with adults who let him come to them on his terms. He loves chin scratches and pets, and will lick you if given the chance. He makes adorable trilling noises when he's happy and content, and is a big purrer. When laying on you, he will touch your face with his paws. He likes to snuggle at night for a bit until he goes off on his nocturnal adventures. He is friendly with other cats, but is scared of big dogs. His best friend is his sister, Lisette and they get the zoomies together several times a day. They like to lay together and groom one another. If you're looking for a handsome new man, Lil Bob is definitely your guy! PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lil Bob (with Lisette), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
