My story

Meet Bernie – Young Adult Great Dane Mix Bernie is a big, friendly Great Dane mix looking for a home to call his own. He does well in dog playgroups, especially with female dogs, but hasn’t had much experience with male dogs yet. Slow introductions are best. He enjoys meeting new people and is affectionate once he knows you. Due to his size, Bernie is strong on the leash and still working on his leash manners, but he’s treat-motivated and enjoys chews, which helps with training. Bernie will do best with someone who can handle a large dog and is willing to keep up with his training. If you’re looking for a loyal dog with lots of potential, come meet Bernie.
