My story

The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    Daisy was born February 10, 2025, this little fluff ball of a litter was born to a Mini Dachshund mom and unknown dad. Daisy was very well socialized with other dogs and older kids. Daisy is potty pad trained, and loves to go outside, explore and play. Daisy weighs 5 pounds currently and should be small breed dogs when full grown. What she will look like is anyone's guess. What we do know is she is super cute! Daisy is the first to initiate play. She is the leader of the puppy pack. She will be the first to grab a toy, first to explore new place and first to take off to play tag. Daisy is very cuddly and loves to snuggle, but she also loves to play and wrestle with her doggie siblings. She loves to run and play chase, then take a nap and start all over again. Daisy would love a playful doggie sibling in her new home. The puppies have been family raised and are ready to go on to their new families who will teach them to be good canine citizens. Daisy's adoption fee is $400 plus a $200 Spay deposit. Daisy has 3 DHPP vaccinations currently and is microchipped. The $200 spay deposit will be returned once proof of spay is sent to the rescue. We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
