My story

Meet Lola – Snack Queen and Professional Lap Warmer! Lola is a young adolescent Pug mix with a big heart and a little sass. She’s super affectionate with the people she knows and trusts, but can be a bit shy when meeting someone new. A little patience—and a few bites of cheese or cooked chicken—go a long way with this girl. Lola isn’t quite sure what leash walks are all about just yet. She’d much rather be carried around like royalty, which has definitely slowed down her leash training progress. But with some gentle encouragement (and tasty bribes), she’s starting to get the hang of it. She’s food-motivated, loves treats, and responds well to a calm, reassuring approach. If you’re looking for a sweet, quirky companion who’s equal parts couch potato and cuddle bug, Lola just might be your perfect match.
