My story

Meet Lyle! This 6-year-old, 31-pound bundle of joy is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet. He loves soaking up the sunshine, playing with his toys, and curling up for cozy cuddle time. Despite arriving at the shelter with a broken pelvis, likely from being hit by a car, Lyle is doing great—he can walk, potty, and enjoy life! He’ll need 8–12 weeks of strict kennel rest to heal, with short potty breaks only. He may be at risk for early arthritis, so adopters should be ready to manage his recovery and long-term care with their vet. * Personality: Spunky, affectionate, and laid-back * Favorite Activities: Lounging in the sun, toy time, and snuggles * Size: 31 lbs – the perfect medium-sized buddy * Special Notes: Healing from a pelvic injury; needs rest and vet-managed care * Best Home: A calm, loving space to help him recover and thrive Adoption includes vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, heartworm test, spay/neuter unless medically prohibited.
