My story

Meet Gold Dust – a young dog with a heart full of hope!At just 1 1/2 years old, Gold Dust has already faced more challenges than most dogs his age. Though his start in life wasn’t easy, you’d never guess it by the way his tail wags when he sees a friendly face. Gold Dust is incredibly sweet with people and is learning to trust the world one day at a time.He enjoys walks with our volunteers, soaking in the sights and sounds with quiet curiosity and growing confidence. He joins morning playgroups and would need to meet any potential dogs prior to going home, just like all our dogs. Gold Dust has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on all his vaccines, so he’s ready for a fresh start in a home that will give him the love and security. It is recommended that Gold Dust live in a home with older children.If you’re looking for a kind, gentle companion who’s ready to leave the past behind and move forward with you, Gold Dust is waiting to meet you.His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
