Rookie

My story

Little man Rookie is around 1 year old. He came to us from a rescue situation and is a nervous little boy. He will take some extra time to open up and may require a couple of meet and greets to help him feel comfy. He is working hard on trusting the staff here at the shelter and is starting to open up little by litte. We feel he would do best in a home with experienced dog owners as he has been under socialized and is very fearful of new people and new things. We are unsure of him with children and would want the entire family to come to the meet and greet. He has previously lived with other animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits and reptiles. If you have any cats in the home, super slow and patient introductions will be best to allow everyone time to decompress. If you have any pups in the home we will require a dog test.
