Meet Fluffy Muffy ACCT-A-220318! Fluffy Muffy is a 4-year-old female who came in as a stray on 5/15. Medical Notes: Per an exam on 5/15: “Cursory examination due to reactivity. BAR, normal mentation. Lenses clear OU, mild amount of serous nasal discharge. Ears clean AU. No nasal discharge. MMs, teeth, CRT could not be assessed. No M/A ausculted, femoral pulses synchronous, BV sounds bilaterally across chest, eupneic. Abdomen palpates softly and without pain, no organomegaly appreciated. Intact female. BCS 4.5/9. Ambulatory x4 with bunny hopping in hindlimbs bilaterally, deviation of spine along the TL spinal segments, no pain on hip extension, no pain elicited on spinal palpation. XR: Fusion of caudal thoracic spinal segments extending to the thoracic spinal segments. Conformational abnormalities of corresponding ribs appreciated. Assessment: -Scoliosis with bunny hopping suspected secondarily -Condition is likely congenital, and something patient has experienced lifelong. As scoliosis often occurs secondary to spinal cord lesions such as syringomyelia or hydromyelia, observed gait abnormality is likely neurologic in origin, and it is possible that neurologic deficits may worsen over time. Recommend consultation with a neurologist for further assessment.” Per an intake exam on 5/15: -BAR Friendly appears healthy -Eyes are cloudy -Tartar and yellow discoloration has 2 rows of teeth -Good but when examining the spine it felt crooked and there was a hard lump midway down the spine. -BAR Friendly just scared ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
