My story

🐾 Meet Bandit – Your Future Cuddle Coach! 🐾 This dashing 11-year-old gentleman may have been surrendered through no fault of his own, but he’s not letting that slow him down! Bandit has blossomed in foster care — going from shy and anxious to confident, social, and ready to charm his way into your heart. When you walk into the room, Bandit will run to greet you like a little butler with whiskers. He’ll guide you to his favorite hangout spot and request (okay, demand) your attention with enthusiastic headbutts and happy rubs. Resistance is futile — he’s just that lovable! Pet him once and you’ll be rewarded with loud purrs and professional-level biscuit making. He often flops onto his side, belly up, like he’s saying, “Look at this majestic fluff—don’t you want to rub it?” (Just keep an eye on his body language — like many cats, he’ll let you know when he’s had enough snuggles for the moment.) Bandit also loves interactive play, especially with wand toys. While he pretends to ignore his solo toys during the day, the scattered aftermath in the morning tells another story. Playtime is not only his favorite bonding activity, but it also helps him stay active and burn a few calories (which he definitely needs — more on that below!). A few things to know: Fluffy King Alert: Bandit has long, luxurious fur that requires regular brushing to avoid painful mats. The good news? He loves being brushed — especially his belly! (His haunches… not so much. He has opinions.) Chunky Chic: Bandit is a bit on the rounder side and working on slimming down. His future humans will need to stick to a slow-and-steady weight-loss plan, with guidance from the shelter and help from regular playtime. This handsome, affectionate fluffball is looking for a forever home that will love him, brush him, play with him, and admire his belly (with consent, of course).
