This handsome German Shepherd is a “leaner”—one of those special dogs who shows love by gently pressing in close, quietly asking to stay near your heart.Houston is calm, affectionate, and well-mannered. He knows how to sit, takes treats with the softest mouth, and will even offer his paw when asked—a small, sweet gesture that says, “I’m trying my best.”He walks well on a leash, though he can be a medium puller at times—mostly because he’s excited to be near you and explore the world. Houston doesn’t enjoy being left alone in a yard; he’s not looking for a place to roam—he’s looking for someone to belong to.Underneath his striking good looks is a gentle, loyal soul who just wants to be loved and included. Take a chance on Houston, and you’ll gain a devoted friend who leans in not just with his body—but with his whole heart.  Don`t mind him if he barks at you while in his kennel... its not who he is. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
