Meet Girly Girl! Yes, her name is Girly Girl—and yes, she`s just as adorable and fun as her name suggests! This 9-month-old, 42 lb. mutt is full of love, wiggles, and untapped potential. Surrendered due to her previous owner`s declining health, she’s now settling into life in Massachusetts and looking for her forever home.In her local foster home, Girly Girl is making great progress with her house training and learning the ropes of everyday life. Leash walking is still very new, so her future family should be ready to stock up on tasty treats and have plenty of patience as she builds her confidence. She’s still working on being comfortable in a crate when left alone, so continued positive reinforcement will be key.Girly Girl could go to a home with kids 5+, dog-savvy cats, and/or young, playful dogs. She would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard—her zoomies are no joke, and she’ll need the space to stretch those long legs!If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate pup to grow with and share life’s adventures, Girly Girl is ready to steal your heart. Her foster says, `Girly girl is a very sweet and loving dog. She loves affection and wants to be around her human all the time! She will play with other dogs, but she much prefers the company of her favorite humans.. She is very smart and could easily be trained. She is more affection motivated than food, but a snack is always a good option. Her leash training needs some work, but I know that with consistent effort, she will ace it in no time at all. Before I got her as a foster, I was told that she was good with cats. We don’t have cats.`She is available for adoption by appointment in Hopkinton, MA.
