My story

Hi, I'm Isla - a sweet, playful senior with the energy of a puppy! I may be a senior, but don't let that fool you - I still have plenty of spunk and love to play! I'll happily chase after my toys, especially for a fun game of tug-of-war. I can be a little bit of a puppy at heart, and I'm always ready for some fun and affection. I was surrendered because I didn't get along with the dog in my previous home, but I don't seem to pay any attention to the dogs here at the shelter. I think in the future, I would like my space all to myself though, so no pups in my future home please! I'm definitely a no-cats kind of gal as well. I have a lot of love to give and would do well in a home with children who can handle my playful energy. While I might be a bit sassy at times, I'm also incredibly sweet and affectionate with the people I trust.
