My story

Looking for a handsome gladiator? Oboron is your guy!Oboron arrived at FVHA as a stray.This beautiful boy is ready for a loving furever home. Oboron has been through a lot, but he doesn`t let that get him down! He enjoys chin scratches, sunbathing, and playing with string toys! He is a lovely mix of playful and cuddly.We are unsure of his background with other cats or dogs, but our adoption team is happy to advise you on slow introductions to any new furry family members!Things to be aware of with Oboron`s health: Oboron tested positive for FIV. FIV is a retrovirus that compromises a cat’s immune system, making them more susceptible to infections. It is a feline-only virus and cannot be transmitted to humans. The virus is primarily spread among cats through bite wounds. While there is no cure for FIV, infected cats can live for many years with proper care and monitoring!Oboron also received x-rays where it was discovered that he has an old hip injury that has healed. This has left a build up of scar tissue that has resulted in some arthritis. This doesn`t seem to cause him any issues currently but will need further monitoring by his future veterinarian!Oboron is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, has received flea prevention, is dewormed, and is microchipped!If you have any questions about Oboron or our adoption process, please contact us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org and book an appointment online to meet with him today!
