My story

Meet Megan, lovingly known as “Sweet Keat” — the most wonderful mixed breed you’ll ever meet! At around 2 years old, Sweet Keat has already overcome more than most dogs face in a lifetime. After being tragically hit by a car in Broward County, she endured one of the worst injuries we’ve ever seen. She was completely degloved and ultimately lost a leg during her recovery. But don’t let her past or her missing leg fool you — this girl is unstoppable! Sweet Keat is full of life, love, and joy. She’s currently thriving in her foster home on a horse farm, where she enjoys the company of dogs, children, and even horses. She’s incredibly social and would be the perfect addition to an active, loving family. Sweet Keat does have a seizure disorder, but it is very easily managed with daily medication. She’s resilient, affectionate, and ready for the next chapter of her journey. We adore Sweet Keat and can’t wait to see her find her forever family!
