Flounder

My story

`This is Flounder, an adorable and energetic pup! Flounder is a big baby, eager to explore the world around her. She is as sweet as can be and still has all the puppy energy that makes life so much fun! Flounder also has the cutest 1 ½ ears—half of one ear is missing, which causes it to stand up, but she doesn’t know any different!Since Flounder is young and still learning, she has been working on her manners with her foster family so she can be her best self with her forever family. She is very eager to please her people and will benefit from continued training. She’s such a smart girl, so it won’t take long for her to catch on! Flounder is very food-motivated, knows how to sit and shake, and is doing great sleeping in a kennel at night next to her foster parents. She is also potty trained with regular trips outside and has been doing well on leashed walks. Flounder gets along with everyone—including big and small dogs, and even cats! The only thing is, she still has a lot of that puppy energy, so she can be a little “in your face” toward other animals. However, she takes corrections from the other dogs and cats well, and she’s learning every day what is right and wrong. She’s just a typical happy-go-lucky puppy who will eventually adapt to any household! To help with her training, Flounder would benefit from an established routine so she knows what her people expect from her. She’s not the biggest fan of being in a crate when her foster parents are away, but with continued training, she’s sure to get it down! Flounder is an amazing puppy who will not only keep you on your toes but also shower you with love every step of the way. She might have had a rough start to life, but that hasn’t slowed her down—she is ready to find her forever family!`
