  Bonjour! Meet Pierre – Your New Purr-fect Companion Say hello to Pierre, a dashing brown and white tabby with a joie de vivre that’s simply irresistible. This friendly and confident gentleman knows how to charm with his affectionate nature and playful spirit. He’s as easy to pick up as a fine baguette and loves to bring you his favorite toys—consider it his way of saying “Voulez-vous jouer avec moi?” (Do you want to play with me?) Pierre is independent but also adores snuggles, making him the cat you can count on to brighten your day. He’s great with kids, ready to share smiles and gentle playtime with your whole family. This sweet boy would do best in a calm environment where he can grow into his forever home.  Just a heads up, this little French gentleman may need some future dental care, but that only adds to his charm and story. He is feeling a bit anxious at the shelter and would love a calm home that he could relax in. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals. PAWS is the city's largest rescue partner and provider of low-cost, basic veterinary care.
