My story

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/cats/1374Name: Serena (Mom of Sports Legends Kittens)Gender: FemaleBreed: Domestic Short HairEst. Age: 18 months (Est. DOB: 10/14/2023)Available to go home: June 11, 2025Current Location: Spring Grove, PAAdoption Fee: $200About Serena:Serena may be named after a tennis legend, but she’s traded center court for a cat tunnel and a comfy window perch—she’s got nothing left to prove except how perfect she’ll be in your home.About Serena:Forget Wimbledon—this Serena has been winning at motherhood and is now ready to retire from raising kittens and step into her forever role: household royalty. She raised six kittens like a pro, letting anyone help without a single challenge call. And while she’ll vocalize her opinions (mostly on food and affection quotas), she’s really just lobbying for more head scratches and fewer empty food bowls. She’s got style, grace, and just enough sass to keep you laughing. She tolerates dogs (as long as they know who’s boss), plays like she’s training for the Cat-lympics, and lounges like she’s paid for it. Spoiler: she hasn’t been.Personality:- Sweet and social, but expects applause- Meows for what she wants—usually food or your undivided attention- Lets humans handle her babies (talk about trust!)- Gets along with respectful dogs—gracious even in retirement- Enjoys tunnel sprints and dramatic flops by open windows- Confident, composed, and maybe just a little judgyEnergy Level:Moderate. She’ll play hard for 20 minutes, then nap like she just won a Grand Slam.Companionship:Does well with gentle humans, other pets who respect the court boundaries, and anyone willing to call her "Queen Serena."Love and Affection:Absolutely! She's affectionate and will purr on cue, especially if there's brushing, petting, or seafood-flavored bribes involved.Included Veterinary Care:- Visit to veterinarian for health certificate- Up to date on vaccinations for her age- Will be spayed before adoption (she’s so done with kittens)- Microchipped- Heartworm, flea, and tick preventative- Worm/parasite treatmentsPerfect Home PreparationYour home should be equipped with:Litter and litter boxCat carrier (chauffeured rides only, please)Cat food (wet, dry, and lickable treats or no deal)Food and water bowlsCozy beds, sunny windows, and emotionally available humansToys for play and props for her next victory poseScheduled vet appointment within first few days

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Serena (Sports Legends Mama), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
