Trixie

My story

Trixie was saved from a farm at four months. She was the last puppy and her stomach was bloated with worms so her rescuer couldn't leave her behind. To this day, the best $20 she's spent. Trixie has been living with Red Fern's primary rescuer in San Antonio. Since rescuing the innocent pups of the San Antonio streets is unfortunately thriving, with no end in sight, this rescuer wants more for Trixie, including a traditional home where she can get all the love and attention. Trixie is an indoor couch potato but outdoor active girl- the best of both worlds! She loves walks and getting out of the house to include taking herself on walks if you're slacking so a secure fence required. Other than impromptu walkies, she is very well behaved, one of the only dogs in the house trustworthy with free roam. Trixie loves to play outside- she will play bow to you and then if you stomp the ground she will do zoomies. Obsessed with toys and a bit of a toy hog- she'll steal and hoard on her bed. She also loves to try new foods. Trixie is good with kids, dogs, LOVES littles, and cats (but has never been left alone with cats). She has never started an altercation with a dog, but will defend herself. She is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go (only has accidents if left for a long time). Trixie is fully vetted. Trixie will wait with her rescuer in San Antonio, Texas, until she has a committed Colorado adopter to bring her North. ##2401275##
