🐾 Meet Emma Joe – A Resilient Soul Ready for a Fresh Start 🐾 Emma Joe is a 5-year-old Labrador mix who has endured a rough start in life. While we don’t know her full story, we do know it wasn’t easy. Thankfully, a compassionate family took her in and started to help her heal from her troubled past. Emma Joe was found with severe mange, but with the help of her loving family and veterinary care, she began to recover. Despite their best efforts, Emma Joe and the resident dog just couldn’t find common ground, and her family made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her to us. Now, she’s ready for another chance at finding her forever home. Emma Joe is a gentle, laid-back girl who is a little shy at first but warms up over time. She did well during her dog meet, though a calm, easy-going dog would be her ideal match. A dog meet is mandatory to ensure the right fit. Emma Joe would thrive in a quieter home with older kids who understand her need for a calm, slow-paced environment. She still has some lingering skin issues, but with a little patience and care, she’ll continue to heal.
