Smokey is a quiet, gentle soul who's blossoming beautifully after the loss of his person and separation from his dog sibling. Now more relaxed and confident, he enjoys wandering the yard, exploring behind bushes in the shade, and savoring calm strolls through the neighborhood. He walks politely on leash and is fully housetrained with zero accidents—such a good boy! Smokey listens well and comes when called, always earning praise. He sleeps soundly on a dog bed in his foster’s room alongside the resident dogs, with no issues at all. He thrives with a peaceful routine and continues to grow more independent each day, now feeling safe enough to rest away from his foster’s side. He loves children, quietly welcomes new people, and simply wants to be part of the pack.
