My story

Meet AJ! This 2-year-old, 62 lb Lab/Husky mix is equal parts cuddle bug and outdoor adventurer. With his stunning golden coat and soulful eyes, AJ turns heads wherever he goes—but it's his sweet, easygoing nature that will steal your heart. AJ is a gentle, affectionate pup who lives for cuddles. He’s happiest curled up next to you on the couch but also loves romping around outside or playing with doggy friends. He walks well on leash (though he might pull a bit if he spots a squirrel!) and is completely house-trained and crate-trained. In fact, he’s happy to hang in his crate while you’re out—especially since he can be a little mischievous if left alone with shoes lying around! AJ knows basic commands like “sit,” “lay down,” and “stay,” and he’s highly food motivated (carrots included!). He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and would thrive in a home with another playful pup. He’s friendly with everyone—men, women, and kids—and while he can get vocal with excitement (especially when you come home), he’s never excessive. Whether he’s howling with joy, lounging like a pro, or patiently waiting by the door for his walk, AJ is a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to find his forever family.
