My story

Hi there! I'm Asa, and I'm an adorable pup about 10 months old, I weigh 47 pounds right now and I have lots of love to give. Even though I'm still just a big baby, I have so many dreams about my forever family. That they will be able to give me lots of love, affection, and attention, and I promise to give them unconditional love and lots of playful moments. As you can see from a couple of my pictures, I love to lay across the nice volunteers here at the rescue, I only want to be close to you. I have heard the word “love muffin” said about me, that sounds silly! I'm a sweet and goofy boy who loves squeaky toys, and I can't wait to find a home where we can run around and play fetch together. I am looking for an active home where I can have plenty of opportunities to be adventurous and explore, as I am a very curious pup. I will also need a home where any children are at least 4 years old. I am very affectionate and crave closeness, so I would love a family that can give me lots of snuggles and belly rubs. I am very smart and I already know how to walk nicely on a leash, but I will need some basic obedience training to help me become the best version of myself. I really look to you for reassurance and guidance, so I need a leader to guide me. I just love other dogs! As soon as I see them, I have an immediate play bounce and then go into cute play bows. I have a very balanced play style and will roll on my back to allow the other dog to take the lead. I'm ready to find my forever home and begin our next adventure together, I really hope you come and meet me.
