Incoming Passenger Kimmy, Updates to Profile Coming Soon! *PLEASE NOTE THIS ANIMALS PROFILE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE* This animal has secured their second-chance ticket on the All Aboard Animal Rescue Express! Once vetted and evaluated upon arrival we will update animal profiles with updated information and photos to better represent them! ADOPTION FEE: $525 Meet Kimmy: This adorable girl is so sweet and ready for her forever home! From Their Foster: 5/28 5/27 Kimmy is doing well! She has taken to my boyfriend and loves to snuggle up on the couch with him when she isn’t outside playing with our dog. She is definitely going to be someone’s loyal best friend. On her own Kimmy is super chill and loves to lounge. She can get overwhelmed with other dogs so it’s important to monitor her interactions and allow her space and breaks when playing with others. She can get nippy or too rough but is easily redirected and can disengage. She does show signs of food aggression so it will also be important to stay on top of that. If we keep her separate from our other dog when food is around or redirect her attention she usually can drop it. She is working on potty training but does fairly well if the backdoor is open for her to come and go as she pleases. She struggles in her crate at first and will scream/screech for a few minutes but then will settle in. She is great on a leash and loves a good sniff! 5/20 Kimmy is already winning hearts everywhere she goes. Kimmy has a sweet, gentle spirit. She's the ideal mix of playful and mellow: full of curiosity and puppy energy when it's time for fun, but also happy to curl up and relax with her people. From the moment she arrived, Kimmy foster family fell in love with her. She's incredibly affectionate, eager to please, and listens well for such a young pup. She's already learning basic commands, and her quick mind and good nature make training easy and enjoyable. Kimmy is great with kids, loves being around people, and fits beautifully into a family environment. She’s a “just right” size for cuddles and play, and will likely grow into a medium-sized dog. We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us! We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications! We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
