My story

I was a stray and the county shelter rounded me up, along with another dog. I was so scared that I would hide at the back of the cage and just shake. When I was rescued I still tried to hide and didn't eat for a couple of days. I'm better now but I will need patience to warm up. I'm nice and warm now, I love when my foster mom picks me up and I nestle into her shoulder. I get along with the other dogs at rescue. I'm eating good and I weigh about 8 lbs. I'm a young senior at 8 years old. I think I would like a quiet home with older children (12+) and my person is home more than they're away. I was recently spayed and didn't lose any teeth when I had my dental. I'm ready for a good home that will keep me safe and loved.
