My story

Hi! My name is Lucky, and I’m a sweet, energetic, Five month and absolutely adorable 17-pound Goldendoodle puppy. Life threw me a curveball early on, but I haven’t let it slow me down! I was purchased as a young pup, but one day I slipped out of my leash and injured my stifle joint . My owner took me to the vet, but never brought me back for my recheck. . Because of that, my leg healed the wrong way — and now I have a little limp. Thankfully, my amazing rescue stepped in and brought me to a specialist. The surgeon says I’ll need time to grow, and as I get stronger, my muscles may help stabilize my knee. I might always have a bit of a limp, but it doesn’t stop me from being a happy, playful puppy.
