My story

Hi, I`m Pinky!I might’ve only spent a few hours getting to know my new human friends, but I packed a whole lot of charm into that short time! I`m a super sweet boy who LOVES walks, car rides (especially with the window down so I can stick my head out!), and apparently... Chick-fil-A. Yeah, I know how to live.I walk pretty well on a leash — just a little mild pulling, unless I see a squirrel. Then I’m on full alert. Squirrels are very interesting creatures, okay? I also had a blast running around the yard, soaking in all the freedom and fresh air. While out and about, I met a bunch of other animals. I sniffed a cat (curious, not too crazy), met another AHS dog named Chai (we got along great!), and I was SO happy when a 1-year-old Golden Retriever came over to say hi during a walk. I didn’t bark or pull when I saw other dogs — just stayed alert and interested. I might get more vocal once I feel totally settled in, but so far, I’ve been on my best behavior.People? I love `em. I`m excited and interested when I meet new humans, and yes, I totally seek out pets and affection. I’m a bit of a lovebug, if I’m honest. What’s my dream home? Hard to say just yet, but I’d probably thrive with an active family or someone who enjoys running or hiking. I’d likely be happiest with a canine buddy to play with and maybe a yard to zoom around in. Bottom line: I’m a sweet, energetic pup with a big heart and a lot of potential. Let’s go on an adventure together?I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I’m the perfect fit for your family!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pinky, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
