** Fifi is currently in our shelter, and she is available for foster or adoption. Found as a stray on 3/29 and brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control, Fifi arrived as a walking skeleton. Every rib showed, and it was hard to imagine how she still had the strength to stand, let alone offer tail wags and gentle kisses.But Fifi did. Because that’s who she is.What matters most to her isn’t food (though she’s working hard on putting on healthy weight)—it’s kindness, connection, and love. This sweet girl already knows her commands, is gentle and calm with people, and never turns down a cuddle. She’s incredibly resilient, endlessly affectionate, and ready to start a new chapter.Now safe with us at Chicago Canine Rescue, Fifi is healing—physically and emotionally. She is so deserving of a home that will treat her with the love she should’ve had all along.Her time is now.
