My story

Tina von Lorch is a beautiful 10 month-old fluffy shepherd with a sweet personality and a heart full of love. This young girl is gentle, affectionate, and always ready to be part of the group. Tina loves attention and will gently lean on you for affection. She enjoys being petted all over, rolling on her back so you can give her a belly rub. She knows her sit and takes treats gently. Tina walks well on leash in a heel position and settles in nicely when walking with a group of dogs, happy to be included in the pack. In playgroups, she is easygoing and polite. She explores the yard, mingles calmly, and is content to watch the action from a distance. She’s fine with dogs coming up to her and even remains relaxed when dogs play around her while she's lying down. Tina would be a wonderful companion for someone seeking an affectionate dog who enjoys both quiet company and relaxed social settings. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
