My story

Meet your next fur baby in this adorable and fun mixed breed litter of puppies. Small but mighty in love, these little darlings will steal your heart. Born into rescue, they have had ample hugs, play, affection and socialization. That is a great start for acclimating into a welcoming and loving home. Say hello to Mario! He is 9 weeks old and weighs around 16 pounds. A tiny boy now and growing bigger in inevitable. The estimated adult size for Mario, in reaching his full-grown potential is a large size pup of over 60 pounds. In the meantime, Mario is sure to be the sure of entertainment and lively adventures. Exploration in growing up and exploring the world around him will be a combination of games, play and napping along the way. Mario is a friendly boy who does well with other dogs, children and cats. His medium energy will be a combination of playtime and rest with some active puppy energy mixed in. Toys, running, investigating, etc. will be all part of his life and will provide great opportunities for interaction as well. Mario cannot help but be a fun and loving boy and we know his future family will agree. His journey into home life comes with learning a basic skill set. Mario is currently working on his house, crate and leash training. He will put his best paw forward to accomplish his tasks, but he also knows that he will have a supportive family to help him along the way. With time and patience, he will master all the skills he needs. As with all puppies, Mario is full of curiosity and wonderment and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to an amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion.A lively and fun family member is ready to take a step into your heart and home. Take a chance on Mario and you will not be disappointed. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Mario is $600. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.May 17, 2025, 6:59 am
