My story

Buckle up—Scruffy is ready to drive straight into your heart! This 4-year-old pup may be named Scruffy, but he’s all smooth sailing when it comes to personality. He’s a paw-some car companion, always ready for an adventure with his head out the window and a sparkle in his eye.Curious by nature and a champ on the leash, Scruffy makes walks feel like tail-wagging treasure hunts. Whether he's sniffing out new sights or cruising shotgun on road trips, he’s just happy to be by your side. This good boy is ready to ride off into the sunset—with you! 🐶❤️🚘For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
