My story

Scroll through his pictures to see his cute video content! Garth is an adorable boy who is just shy of a year old. Garth spent his youth in a crowded shelter in Joplin, Missouri. He was brought in to that shelter as a stray puppy last September. In April a kind lady took him in and brought him up here and fostered him while trying to find a rescue who would be bale to take him and in a better position to find him an adoptive home. Because Garth was in foster we know a bit more about him! We know he is very good with other dogs, but is not a super rowdy player. He is pretty dainty! He loves all people, and has such a friendly demeanor. He is crate trained. He has a great appetite and loves training with treats! He has already mastered "sit," and walks so well on leash. Garth recently moved to a foster home with other dogs and he has been doing so amazing! He loves to play with the other dogs or cuddle up on the couch with his foster dad. He does well in the crate for a full work day and is doing very well with housebreaking! Below is what his foster dad has to say about him! "This sweet boy still has plenty of playful puppy energy and loves nothing more than sprinting around the backyard with a big smile on his face. Garth is both house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to your home. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and thrives in a social, fun-loving environment. He has REALLY taken to my two dogs very quickly. He loves running and playing with them. He takes his lead from them and will follow them before listening to me! When I get home, he is VERY excited. He gets his exercise by racing around with them in the yard (or in the house!). Garth is affectionate, friendly, and always eager to be part of the action. Whether it’s snuggle time on the couch or zoomies in the yard, he’s all in. With his big heart and happy-go-lucky spirit, Garth will make an amazing family companion!" Garth is such a nice boy, and a great size. We hope you will ask about him today! Garth’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
