This sweet girl has a soft, quiet presence that makes her incredibly endearing to everyone she meets.Though she’s on the shy side, Lizzy is also very curious—she enjoys exploring her surroundings at her own pace and observing the world with her big, expressive eyes. With a little patience and love, she slowly begins to show her affectionate side, and once she trusts you, her sweet personality shines through.Lizzy gets along with other dogs and enjoys their company, especially when they’re calm and friendly. She finds comfort in routine and would thrive in a peaceful home with a family who will give her the time she needs to come out of her shell.If you’re looking for a gentle, soulful companion who will blossom with love and kindness, Lizzy might just be your perfect match.**********Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
