Meet Jayla – A Sweet and Social Butterfly in the Making!Jayla is a 4-year-old Shiba Inu who weighs 22 pounds, and she’s ready to charm her way into your heart. While she may have started off a bit shy, this lovely girl has made remarkable progress and is blossoming into an affectionate and sociable companion.Jayla is now incredibly friendly with people—she’ll walk right up to each person she meets, hoping for some gentle pets and affection. She’s discovered how wonderful human companionship can be, and she absolutely adores attention. Her sweet nature shines through more and more each day, and her tail is never far from a happy wag.She also gets along well with other dogs and can be playful with her furry friends, though she’s just as content with her human pals. New environments can still make her a little nervous at first, but she settles down beautifully with a bit of reassurance and calm support. Her affectionate spirit and gentle demeanor make her a wonderful fit for a family looking for a loving, loyal companion.Jayla is a sweetheart through and through, and she’s eager to find a forever home where she can continue to grow, play, and share all the love she has to offer.*****Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
