Mocha

My story

Mocha is a very nice little dog, an ideal companion for someone who has the time and attention to commit to her. She is believed to be a Maltese-Yorkie Mix, about 10 lbs and estimated to be 7-8 years old. She has a modest amount of energy. She likes going in and outside during the day when weather permits, walking around, and enjoying the outdoors. But also enjoys spending much of the day on her dog bed, observing other dogs in her foster home. And she enjoys barking too! Mocha is, in general, fine with other dogs. She is good with small dogs but can be very bossy with bigger dogs. She is not fond of the antics of smaller children but would be ok with older, teenagers (12+ years old) who have been taught to respect animals. An ideal family for Mocha is one with small dog, or better yet, breed (Maltese or Yorkie) experience, and is aware of dangers that can exist for small dogs (predators, gaps in fences, etc). Mocha is up to date on all vaccinations,, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, spayed, and microchipped. She is also housebroken.
