My story

How this pet arrived: Mufasa was brought in by a community member on December 10, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Mufasa, a sweet and sensitive soul looking for a patient and loving home. He can be a bit shy with new faces and places, but with a little time (and tasty treats of course) he blossoms into a bubbly companion! Once you bond, this goofy boy may even get a little too excited at times. Thankfully, he responds well to positive reinforcement training! Mufasa has done well with other dogs (big and small) in the shelter and in his foster home, and he may enjoy having a calm canine friend. In foster, he is currently working on winning over a new cat friend (word is that he is on his best behavior)! Mufasa is crate trained and thrives in a structured home that can help him learn to control his excitement, but isn't suited for busy environments like farmers markets due to his shy nature. He would thrive best in a small household without young children (under 8) who will respect his space and allow him to adjust at his own pace.
