My story

Introducing Ben! He was brought to the shelter on 5/10 because he was on a journey to find his way home. Ben is only 3 years old and weighs a mere 49lbs. The volunteers describe him as sweet, cute, and a bit shy. That's understandable because he is in a place that is not home. The volunteers have been working with him so he can come out of his shell more. He is also a smart cookie because he can sit when asked and he may know more. He is also great on a leash. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 801; his ID is 9916. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Ben is current on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms; he, will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Ben is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
