GENTLE, CALM, YET SASSY GIRLS DOB 8/9/23 Hey there, everyone! We’re Taylor and Olivia, and we’re a calm, gentle, and sassy pair of bonded grey tabby sisters, although I (Taylor) am mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. We were rescued as kittens from a backyard and enjoyed the company of other cats and dogs in our first foster home. We were adopted together when we were seven months old, but unfortunately our adopter didn’t realize that cats shed, so she returned us several months later. Not that we shed much, but she had some unusually high expectations. So here we are back in foster care, but at least we have each other. I (Taylor) am a cuddly and playful gal who luxuriates in Foster Meowmy’s attention. In fact, I’ll jump up on the cat tree to get at just the right level so that she can kiss me on the nose or give me a crunchy treat! I’m one of the few kitties who like to be held, and that’s when I turn on my purr motor so I can whisper sweet nothings in Foster Meowmy’s ear. I (Olivia) am more independent than Taylor, but I also thrive on Foster Meowmy’s attention – especially when she scratches my ears, chin, or cheeks. When I cuddle in her lap, I start up my purr motor and don’t turn it off until the cows come home. I love it when Foster Meowmy turns on the bathroom faucet for me to lap the water. I’m the curious explorer of the duo, and I’m keen about learning everything about my environment. Unlike Taylor, I’m not fond of being held, but this is not unusual for kitties. Now we’re ready to bring our docile, gentle, vivacious temperaments to grace our new family. Could that be with you? We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so that we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Give us a few toys, and we’ll contentedly bat the jingle balls and catnip mice around the room as well as tumble and pounce with each other. By the way, there are advantages to adopting young girls like us who are past the stage of kitten mayhem. We’re much less likely to cause chaos in your home or destroy your cherished accessories. HOPE ID 24-0209-G031, G032 If you are interested in Taylor and Olivia and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Taylor and Olivia #bonded-sisters, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
