My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Daegil Age: 5 months old (Born on December 2024) Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo corgi mix Colour: Black Weight: 8.5kg / 19lbs (still growing!)   Hello, I’m Daegil! I was born in a shelter with my brothers and sisters! Apparently, my dad and mom were rescued by these warm-hearted rescuers while they were living on the street. My mom was pregnant, walking on the busy road looking for some safety and food, and she was very lucky! This is how we were able to be born in a warm safe place and grow up all together. You can even find my parents listed on the Korean Animal Welfare Association website!   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I am a sweet, energetic boy with charm, good looks, and a curious spirit. Once you meet me, it won’t take long to fall in love! I’m always excited to make new friends, whether they’re people or fellow pups. When I’m not busy playing, you’ll probably find me running around, happily exploring my surroundings. I’m not protective of my food and I share nicely with both people and other dogs. Sometimes I bark for attention—especially at mealtime (because let’s be honest, food is exciting!).   MY SOCIAL SKILLS - With People: I can be a little shy at first, but give me a treat and I’ll warm up to you in no time! I love being petted, held, and cuddled. I haven’t met kids under 13 yet, but with a gentle introduction, I’m sure I’ll love them too. I often show my belly to strangers—it’s one of my favorite things to do! - With Dogs: I love meeting and playing with other dogs of all sizes! I’m social, friendly, and always up for a game or chase with a new friend. -  With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m young, curious, and adaptable. With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I believe I’ll adjust just fine!   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’m an active and playful puppy with lots of energy! I love to run and explore, and once I’ve had my fun outside, I settle down and rest well at home. I’m still discovering the world, one pawstep at a time.    TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning my leash manners and sometimes pull in the direction I’d like to explore. I walk well on quiet streets and nature trails, but loud cars and sudden noises can startle me, and I may try to run. With gentle encouragement and patience, I’m gaining confidence and will continue to improve over time. I’m also potty trained and know how to do my business both indoors and outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help guide me as I grow. I’ll thrive in a home with: - A family who can provide me with a fun & structured environment where I can learn to grow into a fine young adult - A family who can provide me with love, gentle guidance and lots of playtime. I’d love a home with a dog sibling, but I’d also be happy as the only dog, as long as I’m loved and included. - A family who likes to do outdoors activities and spend time together.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m still learning and can be nervous around loud noises, so it’s best to walk me with a martingale collar and double leash to keep me safe.
